Lying in the central area of the University Scientific Zone in Changqing district, and surrounded by numerous high-speed highways, Jinan National Horticultural Exposition Park is on the main axis of One Mountain, One Water and One Sage. With a planning area of 5,176 mu (345.06 hectares), it is 25 kilometers from Jinan city. The scenery is awash with water and the resulting "spring" culture is everywhere. The main building applies energy-saving, environmental protection and new materials with new technologies, acting as an example of how society will pursue harmonious living environments in the future. The park forms a general layout of "one central axis, two scenic axes, three main themes building and eight functional zones".

The central axis, the main road, is composed of four parts: Spring Rhyme Square, Flowers Road, Sky-Land-people Square and Harmonious Square. It is the main scenic axis of the park.

It is open from 8 am to 5 pm, and tickets are 60 yuan ($8.73).
