This year's main sculpture, "Navigating", is 20 meters high and 65 meters long, involving tens of thousands of cubic meters of snow. It is expected to be finished around Dec 20.
The sculpture is modeled after China's first aircraft carrier, the Liaoning, along with other elements reflecting China's accomplishments over the past 40 years since the reform and opening-up, such as domestic-built J-20 stealth fighter, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge and high-speed railways.

Jingyuetan has stepped up efforts in the construction of ice and snow products this year, which cover an area of 600,000 square meters and involve 100,000 cubic meters of snow.
A series of sightseeing and entertainment programs, such as ice and snow motorcycles, ice sailing, snow horse racing, sledding, ice skating and ice cars, will be provided in the park.
