Cutting edge life science makes splash in Hangzhou

The 2nd World Science and Technology of Life Conference, a gathering of global leading academic scientists and researchers across the spectrum of life science, commenced in Yuhang district of Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, on Dec 7.

Focusing on exploration, integration and innovation, the conference presented a treasure house of cutting-edge scientific and technological achievements of life that were made in Hangzhou.

More than 30 academic scientists and nearly a thousand medical experts from home and abroad attended the event and exchanged ideas in a wide range of frontier topics including the development of medial industry, medicine and artificial intelligence.

Life science is one of the development priories of Zhejiang province in recent years, said Gao Xingfu, vice governor of the province.

Top medical talents were also awarded with Shulan Medical Award, known as the Nobel Prize in China's medical world at the conference.
