Tangwang River with Immense Forests & Rare Stones, Yichun

Covering an area of 190 square kilometers, Tangwang River Scenic Area with Immense Forests & Rare Stones is located in Tangwang River district, Yichun, Heilongjiang province.
Yichun is known for its ecology. The whole area is covered with lush vegetation, and is home to 1,240 species of animals, plants, insects and birds. There are stones of different and unique shapes, hundred year old trees, and running water springs all year round.
More than 100 granite peaks, known as the “granite forest”, in the scenic area constitute a peculiar geological landscape. These peaks risse from the ground, tall and steep, are scattered in the forest, overwhelming visitors with breathtaking views.
There are more than 20 rivers running across the area. Tangwang River is the largest river in the area with a total length of 509 kilometers, which is regarded as the mother river of Yichun.
