Asihatu Stone Forest, Chifeng
(阿斯哈图石阵旅游区 ā sī hā tú shí zhèng lyǔ yóu qū)
Asihatu Stone Forest Tourist Attraction is a scenic spot of Hexigten Geopark in Hexigten Banner, Chifeng, Inner Mongolia autonomous region. “Asihatu” means steep rocky mountain in Mongolian.
Located in a transition zone between the Greater Hinggan Mountains and grasslands, the stone forest was formed with horizontal and vertical rock joints due to erosion during the Quaternary Ice Age.
The tourist attraction is composed of four parts full of picturesque stone formations of various shapes, unusual mountains and crystal-clear streams. It is a multi-functional geological park combining functions like sightseeing, scientific study and education.

Ticket Price: 120 yuan
Free admission for children under 1.2 meters and visitors over 70 years old.
50 percent off ticket prices for visitors within 18 years old or between 65 and 70 years old with valid certificates.
