Shuangyashan Economic and Technological Development Zone

Located in the north of Shuangyashan, Heilongjiang province, Shuangyashan Economic and Technological Development Zone was set up in 1993. It was upgraded to a state-level economic and technological development zone on Feb 18, 2014, with a planned area of 60 million square meters. 

Apart from focusing on industrial development and providing better services to enterprises, the zone is working to lure investment from its industry chain and by cooperating with other State-level economic and technological development zones.

Eight foreign projects, each with an investment of over 100 million yuan ($14.4 million), are under construction or have been completed. The total amount invested was 12.15 billion yuan, of which local investment was 8.6 billion yuan.
