The 2018 Hangzhou HiNew International Mass Entrepreneurship Conference, a grand gathering for more than 1,500 entrepreneurs and industrial investors from both home and abroad convened in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, on Dec 8.
Aiming to present the latest innovative works and build a platform for international entrepreneurs to exchange new ideas, experiences, and to forge partnerships with potential investors, the conference had three parallel sections covering a large spectrum of themes, including international innovation, industrial innovation, entrepreneurial innovation, cultural innovation, and social innovation.

David Ashkenazi, vice president of Infinity Equity Group attended the event and delivered keynote speeches on Israeli innovation and the potential for the Chinese market.
Awards were also given out for ten outstanding entrepreneurial projects at the event.
Over the years, Hangzhou has ramped up efforts in talent introduction and issued a string of preferential policies. In 2017, the net inflow rate of talents of Hangzhou ranked top in the country, according to Ye Maodong, head of Hangzhou Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau.
Located in the Hangzhou Economic and Technological Development Area, the town introduced over 1,180 innovative companies from January to October, more than twice as much as the previous year.
