Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong province, has launched a series of tourism products to attract tourists from around the world for the upcoming New Year holiday.
Polychromatic flower markets, temple fairs and a gourmet food and garden expo will be offered to spice up the tourist experience.
Guangzhou is a popular destination during winter due to its relatively warm climate, especially compared to the frigid northern regions of China.
The city received 200 million tourist visits in 2017, and earned more than 360 billion yuan ($52.3 billion) in tourism revenue, according to local tourism authorities.
