A Stamford International School Bandung delegation visited the Affiliated Middle School of Lingnan Normal University on Dec 4 as part of their study tour in China.
During their visit to Zhanjiang, the Indonesian teachers and students attended six physics, chemistry and English classes to gain a better understanding of Chinese education. They particularly enjoyed the interesting experiments and relaxed class atmosphere.

Chinese pop songs, dances and body-building exercises were staged during downtime, as was an Indonesian angklung (a traditional musical instrument made from a varying number of bamboo tubes attached to a bamboo frame) performance.
Later that day, Indonesian fellows also got a chance to try their hands at Chinese calligraphy under the instruction of Zhanjiang students. Students and teachers alike hailed the study tour as an unforgettable cultural exchange, and looked forward to further cooperation between the two schools.
