The Economic Institute of the San Francisco Bay Area Council expects to further exchanges with Quzhou in western Zhejiang province, said Micah Weinberg, director of the US-based institute, on Nov 28.
Weinberg made the remark at a meeting with Xu Wenguang, secretary of the CPC Quzhou Municipal Party Committee.
Weinberg said that Quzhou boasts a pleasant environment, profound historical culture and sound foundations for developing the digital economy.
The director briefed Xu on the institute. The leading think tank in the San Francisco Bay Area is a high-profile technological and innovation center with abundant sci-tech innovation resources and professional talents.
Xu extended a warm welcome to Weinberg and discussed Quzhou's economic and social development.
He hopes both sides will establish a long-term, stable and effective cooperation partnership so as to promote the Chinese city's innovative development.
