Deng Boqing, vice-chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), met with Norwegian Minister of International Development Nikolai Astrup on Nov 22.
They exchanged views on strengthening bilateral cooperation in international development.
Astrup introduced Norway's foreign aid work and priority areas, saying that Norway is willing to strengthen exchanges with China in fields of education, medical care, humanitarian assistance, capacity building, and environmental protection.
Deng introduced the CIDCA and China's foreign aid methods. He said that the two sides should enhance communication and learn from each other's experience in foreign aid, and explore tripartite cooperation with multilateral institutions on the premise of fully respecting the will of recipient countries.
