Quzhou was one of the earliest cities to develop e-commerce in Zhejiang province. It has set the direction and goal of developing e-commerce in rural areas early in 2000. Since then, agricultural technology 110 (farmers’ mailbox) and China’s cereal online trading platform have been established.
Quzhou e-commerce association was established in January, 2001. It is the first prefecture-level association of e-commerce industry in China.
