Biological medicine industry

Quzhou has a stable base of developing chemical medicine, Chinese traditional patent medicine and Chinese traditional decoction pieces, with its well-preserved eco-environment. Large volume parenteral, antibiotics, Chinese traditional patent medicine, Chinese traditional decoction pieces are presently the main products.

A large amount of human, physical and financial resources were put into the construction of Shanghai (Quzhou) Zhangjiang biological medicine industry incubation park and a research and development platform by Quzhou government, aiming to push the combination and resource integration of government, production, studying and research.

Quzhou is striving to establish the innovative operation mode of research in Shanghai and production in Quzhou, and has accomplished remarkable effects.

Many related enterprises have settled in Quzhou in recent years, including ACEA Pharma, Dubang Pharma, Jutai Pharma, Taikang Medical and Kangde Pharma. Quzhou has a total of 14 enterprises with annual revenue of over 20 million yuan in medical industry so far.
