Quzhou Airport was established in 1933. It is a military and civil airport with the approval of the State Council and Central Military Commission and has been completed in accordance with 4C standards. In 1993, the airport started to provide civil aviation services.
The airport can house large and medium-sized planes such as Boeing 737 and the Airbus 320. Its terminal building is 3,440 square meters, which can handle 200 passengers per hour during preak hours.
With three gate positions, it is 3.7 kilometers away from downtown Quzhou. Since Oct 28, 2018, the airport has operated flights from Quzhou to Beijing, Shenzhen, Qingdao, Kunming, Jinan, Haikou and Chongqing.
In 2017, it handled 1,638 fights with the annual passenger throughput of 202,620 people, occupancy rate of 78.2 percent and cargo throughput of 601.8 tons.
