CIDCA vice-chairman visits Panama

Deng Boqing, vice-chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), led a delegation of Chinese government international development cooperation officials to Panama from Oct 21 to 24.

Deng held talks with Panama's senior officials from ministries of foreign affairs, security and education as well as officials from the Panama Railway High-level Coordination Committee.

The two sides exchanged views on bilateral development cooperation and reached consensus. They signed documents for the China-Panama Audit Training Program, and witnessed the signing of documents on the China-Panama Railway Feasibility Study Project, the Cologne Safe City Project and the City of Hope Comprehensive Education Center Project.

Deng also visited projects under construction and awaiting construction, and held talks with Chinese-funded enterprises in Panama.
