Art teachers, students and enthusiasts of all ages gathered to appreciate some 100 printmaking works created by artists from home and abroad.
"Many artists have pushed the boundaries of traditional printmaking, taking it to new mediums to invoke different interpretations of their work," said Wang Biao, director of the exhibition department of the museum.
The biennial will last for one month.
