The renovation project includes reinforcing and restoring buildings, improving electromechanical equipment, establishing a new surgery department with an area of 4,800 sq m, adding 100 more beds and related medical facilities as well as an outdoor parking space.
The Chinese government made a commitment to restore the Civil Service Hospital of Nepal after the nation's heavy earthquake in 2015.
The hospital was established in September 2008. It then covered an area of 11 thousand sq m and had over 120 beds. The open-to-all hospital has operated well and made great achievements to locals' health and national health development ever since.
