Best hot spring destinations in Ningbo

As winter comes and the temperatures go down, it is a good idea to enjoy yourself in a steaming hot spring for a little bit of quiet and leisure time. Hot springs not only help you relax your body and mind, but are also healthy due to trace elements contained in the water that are good for the body. Here are five of the best hot spring destinations in Ningbo where you can go and enjoy a break with your family or friends. 

1.Empark Seabed Hot Spring

With 63 indoor and outdoor hot spring pools, including some for the children, couples and those wanting a bit of TCM, there is also a dining zone and a fitness center in the building where you can enjoy delicious food and sports such as ping pong, billiards, gymnastics and cycling.

Tickets: $28.5 for adults, $14.3 for children between 1.2m and 1.5m tall, children under 1.2m enjoy free access.

2. Hengyuan Hot Spring Resort

Situated at the foot of Erlingshan Mountain by Dongqian Lake, a lake parallel to Taihu Lake and West Lake, this hot spring resort is a 30 minute drive from the city center. It boasts the largest indoor and outdoor hot spring zones in the city, with more than 50 distinctive pools, including pools with flowers and Chinese herbal medicine.

The indoor hot spring zone includes a comprehensive spa center, which is equipped with massage beds and facilities, and a pool with special little fish that can help clean your skin by eating the impurities over your skin pores. The VIP center offers not only private pools, but also bedrooms, sitting rooms and bathrooms with full amenities. 

Tickets: $31.4 for adults, children between 1.2m and 1.5m enjoy discounts, and children under 1.2m enjoy free access.
