Cruise ship Westerdam pays first visit to Sanya

The cruise ship Westerdam of Holland America Line took more than 1,900 overseas tourists to the Sanya Phoenix Island International Cruise Port on Nov 14.
It is the passenger liner's first visit to Sanya in Hainan. Tourists spent a short but colorful stop in the world-renowned coastal city.
They departed from Alaska in the US and will pass through a total of eight countries.
In recent years, Sanya has been devoted to developing international markets and attracting more high-end tourists by improving its international air route network and promoting cruise tours.
