Zhanjiang per capita disposable income rises 9.4%

The per capita disposable income of Zhanjiang residents was 16,370 yuan ($2,361) in the first three quarters of 2018, a year-on-year increase of 9.4 percent, and an actual growth of 6.6 percent after deducting price factors.

The per capita disposable income of local urban residents grew by 7.5 percent to 22,026.3 yuan, while that of rural residents increased by 9.7 percent to 12,258.8 yuan. All groups showed significant growth.

Along with the income growth, Zhanjiang rolled out a series of policies this year to raise minimum wages and minimum standard of basic pensions.
