The eastern region of Northeast China’s Heilongjiang province was hit by heavy snowfall on the morning of Nov 9, causing the cancellation of 15 trains and delays to many services.
China Railway Group Harbin Bureau has been using snowplows and vehicles to clear tracks blocked by heavy snow in order to quickly resume normal services.
To improve transport efficiency, 21 trains scheduled to depart Harbin for Beijing, Shijiazhuang, Huichun, Qiqihar and Jiamusi have been rescheduled for Nov 12. More carriages have been added to trains departing for Mudanjiang, Jixi and Suifenhe cities.
More details on rescheduled trains can be found on the official train service website (www.12306.cn) or by calling the 12306 service hotline.
