Founded in 1984, Xiamen R&B Group is a large municipal company whose core businesses are engineering construction, building materials, and yacht tourism.

Its businesses include the construction, management and maintenance of large traffic facilities, such as roads, bridges, ports and airports, artistic designs for scenic spots, supply of building steel and concrete, development of yacht ports and waterfront tourist attractions, and hotel management.

As the main force in Xiamen traffic infrastructure construction, the company has built the city's five major roads, including Huandao Road, the most beautiful one in the city, Xiang'an district campus of Xiamen University.
