A city orienteering challenge was held in Hohhot, capital of Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Nov 10.
The event saw a total of 5,000 people take part in teams of five, with each group completing missions and following a designated travel route, with winners each receiving medals.
Five routes wound through the city's 30 landmarks and urban landscapes, and participants were required to complete quizzes and challenges related to the area’s heritage.
The competition was designed to show off the city’s unique charms, promoting it as a tourist destination.
