Mao'er Mountain National Forest Park, located in Yanji in the Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin province, is the city's most popular scenic spot.
The Chinese name "Mao'er Mountain"(帽儿山) literally translates to "Little Hat Mountain" in English, which refers to the unique pointed shape of the mountain.

Due to how well-protected the natural environment of the mountain is, a large variety of flora and fauna species can be found inhabiting the area. The scenic spot offers visitors the opportunity to get back in touch with nature in northeastern China. Tourists are be able to see mushrooms thriving in the grasslands, trees bearing wild fruit, squirrels, hares and pheasants running through the dense forest of pines, elms and aspens, and so much more.
