Beigang village in Liushui town, north-east of Pingtan, lies between the sea and Junshan Mountain, enjoys natural resources including stones, sea and mountains.

Being listed as one of the most beautiful villages for leisure by Fujian province in 2017, Beigang village maintains complete traditional style of stone architectures, with gray and cyan granite as their walls and red and grey tiles covered on roofs with cobblestones in different shapes.

In recent years, Beigang village has cast eyes on cultural creative industry, turning the village into a distinctive tourist attraction integrating artistic creation, homestay experience and leisure tourism.
