Xiamen Tungsten Co (XTC), a publicly listed company on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, is involved mainly in tungsten, molybdenum, rare earth, new energy materials and real estate.

By the end of 2015, XTC owned 20 subsidiary companies, a branch company, a China National R&D Center for Tungsten Technology, a Rare Earth and New Energy Material Research Center, and two post-doctoral working stations.

After 30 years of development, the company has established a complete tungsten industry chain ranging from mining, smelting, downstream processing to secondary resource recovery.

Among many tungsten products, tungsten wires used in lightbulbs make up to 50 percent of the global market. Tungsten smelting, tungsten powder products and ultra-fine-grained cemented carbide lead the industry in China.
