Dalian gets new freight train to Xinjiang

A new freight train service was launched recently, linking Jinqiao station in Dalian, Northeast China's Liaoning province and North Huaidong railway station in Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region.

The city's freight center launched the service to promote development of the regional economy.

The first train to use the new line carried 200 containers from Dalian to Xinjiang.
