Innovation center welcomes intl famed booster

Yangzhou Innovation Center welcomed an international prestigious booster Startup East (SE) on Oct 29, being the first city in Jiangsu and the third in China to have this project.

Startup East, founded in 2014, is a one-of-a-kind platform leading Israeli Startups into the Asian markets.

The arrival of SE was expected to create a communication channel between Israel and Yangzhou in innovation resources and clustering more innovation and entrepreneurship projects.

Neir Nelik, in charge of SE, said that the reason why they chose Yangzhou was the atmosphere of innovation and entrepreneurship in the city and the determination of the local government to develop the economy.

Nelik added that Yangzhou's unique geographic location of connecting the southern and northern part of Jiangsu also contributed to their decision.

The SE platform in Yangzhou will carry out various activities such as workshops and on-site visits to enhance entrepreneurship communication between the two sides and provide more opportunities for Yangzhou companies to access higher-level talents and cutting-edge technologies.
