New highway completed in Inner Mongolia

The section of the G45 Highway running from Naiman Banner to Baijiawanzi in Tongliao, Inner Mongolia autonomous region has been completed, according to an Inner Mongolia Daily report on Oct 30.

The G45 Highway connects Daqing in Heilongjiang province and Guangzhou in Guangdong province. And the section from Naiman Banner to Baijiawanzi is a significant part of the highway, linking the autonomous region to China’s Northeastern region.

The section’s main line has a total length of 57.26 kilometers. The highway has four lanes running in both directions, with a speed limit of 100 kilometers per hour.
