Harbin airport switches to winter schedule

Harbin Taiping International Airport switched to the winter flight schedule to cope with passenger travel demands. The new schedule starts on Oct 28 and will last until March 30, 2019.

According to the new winter flight schedule, 47 airlines operate at Harbin airport, including 36 domestic airlines and 11 overseas airlines. There are a total of 1,507 flights linking Harbin to 109 destinations from home and aboard through 185 flight routes every week, having 19 additional destinations compared to the same period last year.

Additional destinations this year include domestic Arxan, Anqing, Baotou, Lhasa, Lijiang, Qingyang, Hanzhong and Wudalianchi, as well as Phuket in Thailand, Cheongju in South Korea, Singapore and Nha Trang in Vietnam.

Additionally, the number of flights from Harbin to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Nanjing, Chengdu and Sanya reaches 21, 22, 10, 10, 11, 9 and 16 per day respectively.
