Established in 1952, Dongbei University of Finance and Economics is a comprehensive university in Dalian, Liaoning province. 

The university covers 650,205 square meters and has more than 16,000 full-time students, including 9,761 undergraduates and 6,453 graduate students. Over the past 28 years, thousands of overseas students from over 100 countries have graduated from the university.

Several roads on the campus are decorated with ginkgo trees on both sides, with the oldest ones planted more than 60 years ago.
