Laizhou in Yantai city, East China's Shandong province launched its 2018 golden autumn tourism culture festival on Oct 27.
The event which will last for half a month involves more than 20 culture tourism activities such as intangible culture heritage expo, cute cartoon pet tour, countryside outdoor concert and the chrysanthemum exhibition.
The organizers said that this year's event was themed around all-for-one tourism in an effort to promote the combination of culture, sports and tourism industry and boost the emerging tourism market.
Visitors have the chance to enjoy the on-site performances of inheritors of intangible culture heritages including paper-cutting, Laizhou jade carving, straw crafts and dough modeling.
A handcrafts making activity themed on families education is also held during the festival. The program aims to boost family happiness levels and family relations through a variety of parent-child outdoor activities, and to promote traditional culture.
As the gingko leaves turn yellow, shutterbugs can also capture the golden scenery by their lens at the countryside.
In recent years, Laizhou gave play to unique tourism resources and has created 14 tourist routes themed around "scenic spots, rural area and folk culture" helping promote local rural tourism industries.
