Elektrisola Hangzhou Co Ltd, the first Chinese production base of the world's leading manufacturer of enameled copper wire, is one of the beneficiaries of the streamlined service procedures of the "At Most One Visit" scheme initiated by Zhejiang province.
Aimed at cutting down on red tape and providing greater convenience for businesses, the reform has integrated several government departments and placed them all under one roof at new administrative service centers throughout the province.

"It takes only three months to go through all the administrative procedures for our new project, which is faster than other countries," said Bernt Gramann, general manager of Elektrisola Hangzhou Co Ltd at a forum, adding that the same procedures require six months in Germany and 18 months in the United States.
Since the establishment of its Hangzhou base in 2003, the German-based company has invested around €150 million ($170 million) to date.
Talking about working in Hangzhou, Gramann gave his approval to the sound business environment and simplified administrative procedures in the city, especially the one window service which integrates data from different government departments and enables the public to submit application materials at one service window.
"We witnessed a 16 percent increase in our sales performance last year and we'll continue to increase investment in Zhejiang," he said.
