An international human resource service industrial park opened in Yangzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone on Oct 28.
The industrial park was built by the Yangzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone, the Yangzhou Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and Manpower Group, a world leader in innovative workforce solutions.
The first phase of the park, covering an area of 4,000 square meters, has been put into operation and the research institute of Manpower Group has settled down.
It is expected to cluster over 100 companies in human resource services and has an output of 5 billion yuan ($719.1 million) and a comprehensive tax of 3 billion yuan.
"The essence of innovation lies in luring talents, so that building an industrial park was an urgent demand of the time," said Wang Xizheng, director of the Talent Exchange Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
"Building this industrial park was not only for promoting economic transformation and upgrading, but also for using the market's dominant role in talent allocation to boost local the local economy," said Ju Naijun, an official from the Yangzhou Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau.
