Xiamen to develop whole cruise industry chain

Xiamen will build a whole cruise industry chain together with two other State-owned companies, according to the memorandum of cooperation between the three sides signed on Oct 20 in Shanghai.

Zhuang Jiahan, mayor of Xiamen, said at the signing ceremony that as one of four major international shipping centers in China, the city will give full play to its preferential policies and favourable geographic location to develop a cruise industry cluster.

China COSCO Shipping Group and China National Travel Service Group are two State-owned companies, which lead their respective industries in China.
