The 2018 Yantai Folk Arts and Crafts Expo came to an end at the Yantai International Expo Center on Oct 22.
The four-day event displayed a wide range of modern folk art and crafts from 26 Chinese cities and provinces as well as seven countries and regions and attracted 120,000 visitors.
More than one hundred folk artists including inheritors of intangible cultural heritages and craft masters showcased their handcrafts, covering Chinese traditional embroidery, pottery making, clay figurines, printing and engraving, furniture and stationery, traditional Chinese medicine processing, local cuisines and furniture.
The event was sponsored by the Chinese Folk Literature and Art Association, the Yantai government and the publicity department of the Shandong Provincial Committee.
