The 6th International Symposium on Solar Fuels and Solar Cells (SFSC) was held at the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics (DICP), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in Dalian, Northeast China's Liaoning province, from Oct 17 to 20.
More than 200 representatives from over 10 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom and Japan, attended the event, with discussions taking place on efficient solar energy conversion and utilization.
Initiated in 2008, the SFSC is a biennial symposium hosted by DICP of the CAS and Dalian University of Technology, having become a high-level international event in the research of solar fuels and solar cells.
Several renowned scientists delivered reports at the event, presenting some of the latest research achievements, exchanging viewpoints and experience, and brainstorming solutions to scientific and technical challenges in the development of efficient solar energy conversion and utilization systems.
