CNOOC makes Forbes World's Best Employers List again

CNOOC ranks No 6 on the 2018 Forbes World's Best Employers List released on Oct 11, up 54 places compared with its ranking last year. It is the only Chinese company among the top ten employers.
The number of Chinese companies on the list increased to 84 from 54 in 2017. Four Chinese oil and gas companies are listed this year, while only two such companies were listed last year.
The 2018 Forbes World's Best Employers List was compiled by the Forbes magazine and Statista, a market research company. They researched and analyzed listed companies from 60 countries and regions on the 2018 Forbes Global 2000 List.
Statista analyzed over 430,000 worldwide company recommended questionnaires. Employees evaluated and graded their employers, answering questions such as whether they would recommend their companies to their families and friends and what is their ideal employer.
Five hundred companies were included on the 2018 Forbes World's Best Employers List. They are highly regarded by employees in various aspects, such as company image, opportunities to grow and business diversity.
On the 2018 Forbes Global 2000 List, CNOOC ranks No 158 and on the Forbes World's Best Regarded Companies 2018 List it stands 83rd.
