Renovated Shenyang Science Center opens to the public

Shenyang Science Center, after a three-year renovation, reopened on Oct 17 with an opening ceremony.

The new museum has an exhibition area of 15,300 square meters, which is about three times that of the original, and can accommodate up to 2,000 people at a time. It is divided into four major exhibition halls: scientific exploration, space exploration, secrets of the human body and information technology. There are more than 400 exhibits, which is four times as many as the original museum. More than 95% of the exhibits are available to visitors for interactive participation.

The renewed Shenyang Science Center is open to the public every Wednesday to Sunday.
