CEEC glass art expo held in Ningbo

The 2nd Ningbo International Glass Art Exposition featuring glass artworks from Central and Eastern European countries (CEEC) was held in Cixi city of Ningbo on Oct 18.

Over 100 exquisite glass artworks made by more than ten artists from CEEC were on display at the expo, which surpassed last year's expo, the first to be held in the city, in both the number and quality of exhibits. 

"We hope to increase mutual understanding between us and CEEC through the expo and other cultural exchanges, so to promote our bilateral economic and trade cooperation," said an official in charge of the expo, adding that the bilateral cooperation and exchanges have seen a significant improvement since the inaugural edition of the event.

The city is expected to conduct more cooperation with CEEC against the background of the Belt and Road Initiative, to drive its overall development, according to local authorities.
