Founded on June 7, 2015 in Dalian, Liaoning province, Lushun SubmarineMuseum is the first museum of its kind to exhibit submarine military culture in China.
The museum covers an area of 16,000 square meters and consists of indoor and outdoor exhibition areas. Visitors can not only learn about the development of submarine culture but also experience driving a submarine with a simulator in the exhibition building. The outdoor exhibition area has the type 033 submarine on display, which gives visitors a 360-degree view of a real submarine.
