The signing ceremony between DENSO Corporation and Neusoft Reach Automotive Technology (Shanghai) Co Ltd was held in Dalian, Northeast China’s Liaoning province, on Oct 17. The two firms plan to jointly establish a motor controller project in the city.
Dalian Mayor Tan Chengxu attended the ceremony and met with Hiroyuki Wakabayashi, executive vice-president of DENSO Corporation and Wang Yongfeng, Neusoft CEO.
According to Tan, officials from Dalian government paid great attention to the technological and industrial development of new energy vehicles while the city is also listed among the first batch of national demonstration city of new energy vehicles.
Tan added that this cooperation will help promote the upgrading of the city’s new energy vehicles industry. He also expressed hopes that the two firms would make full use of Dalian’s advantages in talent and policy of the industry and achieve a win-win development.
Hiroyuki and Wang expressed appreciation for the government’s support. They promised to launch the project earlier through speeding up the process of preparatory work.
