Self-driving routes for autumn scenery in Harbin

No 3  Xianglu Mountain

Located in the south of Binxian county and 80 kilometers away from the downtown area of Harbin, Xianglu Mountain is one of the nearest natural forests to the city.

It covers an area of 25,000mu (1,666,67 hectares) and its 790 meters above sea level.

Around 10 species of trees are planted in the mountain, including red pine, oak tree, linden tree and maple tree. Leaves started to turn red or yellow in late September. 

Currently, its entering the best time to appreciate leaves in Xianglu Mountain. The most recommended autumn leaves appreciation site is Red Leaves Valley, which gathers the most splendid and densest red-leaf landscapes.
