Hohhot municipal government and the administrative committee of the city's Horinger New Area recently held a meeting to discuss enhancing development of industrial internet platforms.
According to local media reports about the meeting, which was held in Hohhot, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, Oct 12, officials decided to accelerate economic transition and strengthen traditional industries. By 2020 there would be 200 industrial enterprises above designated size using the industrial internet for manufacturing and general operations.
Horinger New Area will closely examine the state of traditional industries in Inner Mongolia, and give priority to promoting the use of equipment that will connect enterprises to the industrial internet to boost the development of traditional superior industries.
The construction of a cross-industry and cross-domain industrial internet platform to push transformational development will be actively supported by Horinger New Area.
