Two towns in Hechi among provincial health care towns

Liu Sanjie town in Yizhou district and Bama town in Bama Yao autonomous county are among the 2018 Guangxi Healthcare Towns, according to a new survey.

Launched this August, the selection work was conducted by the Guangxi Elderly Care Industry Comprehensive Reform Pilot Area, and a total of seven towns in Guangxi were selected, including the two in Hechi.

Selected healthcare towns should be equipped with complete old age care facilities and provide basic home and community services for the aged, as well as having comprehensive social governance capabilities and a superior ecological environment. The towns will be awarded a one-time grant of two million yuan ($288,792) by the region for the maintenance and management of public infrastructure.
