Togtoh county in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, made it onto the national top 100 list for its investment potential and green development, according to a report on the scientific development of middle-sized and small cities released on Oct 8.
The report was released by the Institute for Urban and Environmental Studies at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the Committee for Economic Development of Middle-sized and Small Cities, and the Institute of Development Strategy of Middle-sized and Small Cities.
The county ranked 40th on the list of China's Top Counties (Cities) for investment potential. And it was placed 85th on a separate list for green development released on the same day.
The report also listed the top 100 districts for comprehensive growth, technological innovation, and the quality of recent urbanization.
Hohhot's Saihan district squeezed into the ranks of the top 100 districts for comprehensive growth.
