Hong Kong youth encouraged to get involved with Hainan's FTZ construction

The "one million talents recruitment of Hainan province" promotional conference, sponsored by the Hong Kong Federation of Hainan Community Organizations and the Hong Kong Hainan Youth Federation, was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center on Oct 9. 

The event aimed to facilitate communication between the youth of Hong Kong and Hainan, and encourage young people in Hong Kong to join the construction of the China (Hainan) Pilot Free Trade Zone and a free trade port with Chinese characteristics in Hainan province.

Directors of the United Front Work Department of CPC Hainan Provincial Committee, their city and county level colleagues, representatives from sponsors and participating enterprises, along with over 200 local Hong Kong youth and college students, attended the event.

A major focus of the conference was to illustrate the investment environment, employment policies, and enterprise resources of Hainan's free trade zone and free trade port. Many well-known enterprises were invited to promote employment and entrepreneurship. Key leaders from government departments and enterprises responded to the entrepreneurship and employment demands put forward by Hong Kong youth.
