The five-day cultural week, held in the South Pacific island nation of Fiji, featured ethnic performances, exquisite handicraft and photo exhibitions on the beautiful landscapes of Inner Mongolia.

The cultural exchanges build bridges to promote friendship between the two countries, especially for the islands and grasslands. Through the event, people in Fiji could deepen their understanding of Chinese and prairie culture.

Cultural exchanges have played an important part in China-Fiji relations that have developed steadily in recent years. With joint efforts by both sides, cultural exchanges and cooperation between the two countries will yield more fruit in years to come.

The Inner Mongolian delegation consisted of ethnic singers, dancers, folk music performers and intangible cultural heritage inheritors, all of whom performed for the Fijians.

The photo exhibition, in celebration of people-to-people ties over the past five years since the Belt and Road Initiative was launched, helped Fijians understand that they will continue to benefit from the China-proposed initiative.
