Development of Dalian Yinggeshi Botanical Garden in Dalian, Northeast China’s Liaoning province first started in 2003. Following 11 years of meticulous landscaping and construction, it opened to the public in April 2014.

The garden’s layout was guided by Junichi Inada, a world-renowned landscape architect, and David Patterson, deputy keeper of the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh in the United Kingdom.
