The regional GDP of Shiguai district, Baotou, North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, recorded year-on-year increase of 8.6 percent in the first half of 2018, reports Baotou Evening News.
The figure was 3.1 percentage points higher than the Baotou city’s average, ranking first in Baotou.
The value added growth rate of the industries above a designated size was 12.5 percent, ranking third in the city.
The income of urban and rural residents stood at 21,405 yuan ($3,117) and 7,289 yuan respectively, with growth rates hitting 7.8 percent and 9.7 percent respectively, ranking first and fifth respectively in the city.
